President's Invitation

Dear Friends,

As the President of WAKO Hungary I hereby kindly invite all fighters, coaches and sport leaders of all WAKO family member countries to come and visit Budapest, where the 22nd WAKO Kickboxing World Cup is organized between 12th and 15th May 2016.

As it is well-known the Hungarian Federation has been organizing World Cups for more than 20 years. But this present issue is special because it is the first time that the event is hosted by Budapest, our capital. It is our definite intention that from now on we will organize this important event in Budapest in each year. We would like to organize a competition for all age groups worthy for the rank of Budapest, where there will be matches in all disciplines. According to the pre-registrations we expect 1500 – 2000 participants. We are planning that the fights will be closed by a spectacular TV show where we expect the leaders of our sport besides fans and spectators.

I hope that we will be able to meet the expectations of this high quality event and we can continuethe tradition of successful events in Hungary. Let’s meet in Budapest between 12th and 15th May 2016! We kindly expect everybody.

Invitation of Organizers

Dear Fighters, Coaches, Referees and Sport Leaders,

We would like to kindly invite you all to the brand new Hungarian Kickboxing World Cup to the beautiful capital of Hungary.
With more than 30 years of experience in kickboxing life our most important goal is to pursuit of perfection in tournament organizing, and set a high level standard of WAKO World Cups. Providing the best conditions and services to the fighters, coaches and referees is a minimum expectation nowadays, but in order to put organizing to the next level we would like to bring the best referees for the best fighters, who can provide the true fair play and high standard of fighting to our tournament.
This year for the first time the Hungarian Kickboxing World Cup will take place in the capital city, and the downtown location offers great opportunities to discover Budapest’s fantastic gastronomic and cultural life as well. Furthermore the main hotel is located right next to the modern sports hall so as to guarantee real comfort to all the participants.
