   COMPULSORY SAFETY EQUIPMENT(KUMITE):

1. Groin Guards (Males) and Mouthguards
2. WKF/AKF approved Red and Blue Gloves and WKF/AKF approved Red and Blue Shin/Instep Protectors
3. WKF/AKF approved Chest Protectors (Females 14yrs & Above).
4. AKF approved Head Guard/AKF Helmet or WKF Face Mask (8 – 13yrs).
5. Body Protectors
6. All competitors must be covered by their personal clubs Insurance.
7. REGISTRATION: Visit Sportdata Online to register. ALL entries must be registered online BY YOUR CLUB.
8. PAYMENT: All monies must be made payable to the WA Karate Federation BSB: 306065 ACC: 4195615
9.   RETURN DATE: All entry forms must be returned by Tuesday 12 October 2021. (no refunds from Wednesday 13 October 2021) Registrations received after 12  October incur $50 late fee up until Wednesday 9am once draws are started.
10.   COMBINED CATEGORIES: The Association reserve the right to combine or cancel categories with insufficient entries.  Round Robins will be used in some divisions.
11.   KATA RULES: Children Kata categories will be two competitors at a time, excluding final. Children’s categories, first and  second  round Heian/Pinan, Gekisai and Saifa. Third round onwards free Kata. Can repeat a Kata but not consecutively. Cadet, Junior, Under 21 and Senior Kata, free Kata. Cannot repeat a Kata. Senior Kata is 16 years and above.
12.  TEAM CATEGORIES: Teams can be comprised of competitors from different organisations.
