The registration can only be confirmed if the Medical Diagnosis Form (MDF), consent form and TUE are uploaded to the athletes WKF Sports-ID profile used for the registration.

However, because of the new sport class for Intellectually Impaired Athletes, the pre-evaluation of the VIRTUS (World Intellectual Impaired Sport https://www.virtus.sport/about-us/athlete-eligibility/applying-for-athlete-eligibility) is mandatory. Only athletes listed on VIRTUS master list will be eligible to compete in WKF Para Karate Championships. Together with the MDF, a Diagnosis Report has to be delivered by a registered Medical Psychologist.

Please note: Unless there has been a change in health, athletes of the category Wheelchair Athletes and Visually Impaired may reuse the MDF of the World Championships if they have participated in the World Championships.

On registration day all participants must submit the 3 following documents (I, II, III) printed:

I) Proof of COVID Status (1 of the following)

i. A Negative COVID-19 RT-PCR Test result taken at most 72 hours before the onsite registration in English. No antigen tests will be accepted.

ii. A COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks before the day of registration. * WKF Protocol for more specifications

iii. A COVID-19 Recover Official Certificate. They must have tested positive at least 2 weeks and at most 6 months (180 days) before registration day. *WKF Protocol for more specifications
