REFEREE SEMINAR:​

• Referee Seminar to be held on the 27th November 2022 at the Galadari Hotel (Official Hotel) in Colombo.
• The 2022 latest WKF Competition rules Referee Seminar will be conducted by the WKF Referee and the Secretary of the AKF-RC, Mr. Michael Huang Chen from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm on the 27th November 2022 at the Galadari Hotel in Colombo.
• AKF member countries WKF / AKF / and National referees are allowed to participate in the Seminar.

SOUTH ASIAN KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP: ​

South Asian Karate Championship to be held on the 28th November 2022 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo. The Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium is located in the city of Colombo. The seating capacity is 5000 persons; the 2006 South Asian Games (SAF) and the 2017 South Asian Karate Championship was held at this venue and it’s equipped with changing rooms, canteen, VIP Lounge and conference hall.

COMPETITION RULES ​

•  TOURNAMENT FEE WILL NOT BE CHARGED

•  Participation in the Championship and the referee course is only for the members of the WKF/AKF and South Asian Karate Federation.

•  The Championship will be conducted as per the current WKF rules.

•  Referee Seminar Fee USD 50 per referee.

•  All referees must register before the seminar and pay the fee on the spot at the official hotel.

•  All referees will be issued a certificate of participation

•  Team Kata (3 +1 Members per team)

•  Team Kumite Male Seven Members per team (Minimum Three Members)

•  Team Kumite Female Four Members per team (Minimum Two Members)

•  Last date for the submission of entry will be 10.11.2022.

•  Organizing committee/players/officials or any individual will not be held responsible in case of any injury during the course of the championship however, the best possible First Aid will be provided.

• Only WKF Approved safety equipment will be allowed during the championship

•  Organizing committee will provide complimentary accommodation to the NF President, General Secretary, the EC members of the SAKF on the 27th & 28th; and for Three officiating referees from each Countries on 27th & 28th November 2022.

For registration of competitors, coaches, referees and officials please follow these steps:

1. Log in with your account at the club / team login
2. Enter your team data at "My club /team data"
3. Enter or change the data of your competitors, coaches, referees and officials (My competitors, ...). 
4. In the event calendar go to the event you want to register for, Click on the “Registration” button of the event you want to register.
5. On the bottom of the entries site you will see the functions to make new entries
6. Register your competitors / teams in categories, coaches, referees and officials
