• NOTE - Senior & Veteran Competitors Can only go in Veterans or Seniors Not both
• 7yrs & under can only enter this division  not elite or developing for both disciplines.

Club conditions for Entry:

1 - 10 Competitors = 1 official/volunteer provided by the club. 11 - 25 Competitors = 2 Official Volunteers. 25 or more competitors = 3 Official Volunteers for the entire competition day.

COMPULSORY SAFETY EQUIPMENT(KUMITE):

1. Groin Guards (Males) and Mouthguards.
2. WKF/AKF approved Red or Blue Gloves (all ages) and WKF/AKF approved Red or Blue Shin/Instep Protectors. (8yrs & above shin/instep protectors)
3. WKF/AKF approved Chest Protectors (Females 14yrs & Above).
4. AKF approved Head Guard/AKF Helmet or WKF Face Mask (8 – 13yrs).
5. Body Protectors.(all ages) Provided by Event Organisers if required.

REGISTRATION: Visit Sportdata Online to register. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE REGISTERED ONLINE. NO PAPER COPY WILL BE ACCEPTED.

CLOSING DATE: Registration must be completed by Friday 10 March 2023 NO Refunds from Saturday 11 March 2023

DEVELOPING CATEGORIES: Past State Team Members cannot enter Developing categories.  If you have won 3 development events or a State division or an Elite you must go in Elite only divisions.

COMBINED CATEGORIES: The organisers reserve the right to combine or cancel categories with insufficient entries.

KATA RULES: Kata will be judged by the flag system. Children Kata categories will be two competitors at a time, excluding semi-final and final. Developing Kata – First and second round Heian/Pinan, Gekisai and Saifa. Third round onwards free Kata. Can repeat a Kata in consecutive rounds. Elite Kata – Children’s categories, first and second round Heian/Pinan, Gekisai and Saifa. Third round onwards free Kata. Can repeat a

Kata but not consecutively. Cadet, Junior, Under 21 and Senior Kata, free Kata. Cannot repeat a Kata. Senior Kata is 16yrs and above.

Volunteers (Table Officials /  Referees / Coaches ) :- If you are available to help please let your club know so the club can submit a list of Volunteers or email info@karatewestaustralia.com.   

• Volunteers Working with Children Card if required please forward your Number / DOB / Expiry Date. OR If you are exempt your club will need to forward the exemption to the state email.(You are exempt if you have a child under 18yrs competing in the event and at the event. If the child leaves the event then you are required to have a WWC)
